V+ box - chip to remove PIN Restriction

on the V+ box ntil recently you could go to settings then locked channels

tap in Pin then lock and unlock each sky movies channel in turn

you could then happlily browse the movie channels to see if you fancied watching one with no cursed pin restriction

midnight the locks kicked again and you could if you wish go through the whole procedure again the following day to get browsable movies

I have no under 18s in my household and wish to go back to the above

- is there any chip or code I could use to alter / remove this cursed pin protection which is ruining my entertainment

No you have to do it daily unfortunately.

the problem is that until easter the group unlocking system worked fine & although an inconvenience I was ok about unlocking the restriction daily

however at easter it all changed - now the group unlocking trick won't work - if you do this ( & ive just tested it again) it wont be unlocked - you have to put pin in to each movie channel& pin won't stick -

ie you used to be able to browse up and the browse down & then settleon a film - this has all gone - boo to VM for altering it unnecessarily !

unnecessarily because you still had to put the pin in - just it unlocked 12 movie channels at a go so you could browse / channel hop

that's why Ive posted here - hoping someone will know how the remove or limit this cursed pin restriction system which is not wanted here as I've no <18s resident

Used to work permanantly in tw, ex cw, in pure ntl you had to do it daily, must have been been updated by virmin, as you say a pain if not needed, dont think there is any other way around it unfortunately.
