Hi,

I've got a DM500s, gemini image 3.6 I guess. With cccam 2.0.4, camd3 3.894 & mgcamd 1.27 cams installed.

I've put keys up to date, but still I can't get the damn cams to work!

How this stuff work? Because it's starting to driving me crazy...

HI mate, welcome to the forum, hope we are of help to you.

The first thing that you need to do is hit the blue button, it should take you to the blue panel there you need to hit the right button, just to the right of the OK button, that will move to the EUMs one after the other. You should only have 2 EMUs in 500s and I would suggest that you use the very latest Cccam and Mgcamd, the Cccam is the best for reading a Sly card and it will update the card also.

Good luck and you should have no problem with your box from now on, but if you do please feel free to ask whatever you will.

I started it up from scratch. I've put cccamd & mgcamd with hacksat autoupdate.

Well, now the question is : why the hell is it still not working?
I'm I doing something wrong? or missing a step?

Should I have a card to use keys?

DM500s / gemini 3.6 / cccamd & mgcamd

Another question on the fly. When I install an EMU, it give me 2 ou 3!
Eg.: CCcam 2.0.5 & CCcam 2.0.5 / NewCS 1.50

Which one should I use?

Don't think you can get any of those on a Dreambox without a proper subscription or cardsharing, Wez could clarify.

Hi again, You should install the latest Gemini image which is the Gemini 4.30. Then you should find the latest version of the Mgcamd and Cccam EMUs. Please get these and install them, then we can start with a clean sheet and maybe get somewhere.

I shall send you a PM so Please have a look for it.
