Hello I have bought one of these but am having problems downloading the software, my laptop does not have a RS232 connection so I bought a Rs232 to USB convertor but when I click for the download I get a "cant open serial port" message, any ideas????

You will probably need to configure the ports on the adapter.

you should have got some software with the adaptor, which should gudie you through it.

Hi, i am totally new to your site so i am sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place. I have just ordered a starview 3 box and was wondering if any of you kind people out there had an idiots guide on how to flash the box when it arrives. My cable provider is virgin. Thanking you guys in advance.
