Forgot PIN

I have forgotten my PIN on my NTL box, is there anyway to reset it? I cant phone customer services as they dont know i have got the box.

if its a 2100 fuse the battery and because your in pure the net id and freq will set itself

have alook in the eng menu first just to check what the freq and net id are

also what model is your box 2100. fuse battery as above ...4010 pull jumper or fuse battery 2110 hold standby left right and down i think till ld6 appears

then replug in stream and it will update itself

you can still access the channels by goin into favourites tick then untick each of the pin protected channels then press tv,bingo!!
if you wanted to reset the pin you'll need to have a read up on the fun card method unless you live in a ex pure area which would automatically reset your net id after shorting the battery then you could redo the pin,but ONLY do this if your pure nthell not ex-cw tw

How do i fuse the battery and what is pure?

The box is currently chipped, would it cause any problem?

To reset pin you also reset net id. Only if your in pure ntl area will the box auto reset the net id, if your in ex cw you will have to reset with a funcard, and will need to know boxkey and ird codes.
Either short battery for 30 secs with a piece of wire (touch both ends of batt ), or hold in standbye+left+right+ok buttons and power on till ld5, then let go and wait for it to update.
Then hold in up and down button and power on till ld14 that takes you into the engineering menu, there reset pin and also frequency for your area, check out net id list in sticky in eurovox section if you dont know it.
