can I expect from satelites other than Sky?I think I know the gear i would need motorised dish and a decent receiver but Id like to know whats available out there I dont mind paying an annual sub as long as its not the exhorbitant amount demanded by Sky.We only watch tennis on Sky 1,2,3 and Eurosport but feel the amount we have to pay for that lot is too much. In the autumn we are going to get the BBC freesat system and that will take care of the main part of our tv viewing, but as an added extra we'd like whichever satelites( other than Skys astra) broadcast tennis and then look at else is on offer. Thanks

The only fta channels, that I can think of which show some tennis are Morrocan channel:Arriadia and UAE: Dubai Sports, and Italian: Rai Sports (all on Hotbird).
If you want all the major tournaments, then I'm afraid they are part of costly(far more than Sky) packages e.g Premiere,Canal+,Digital+ etc. Last edited by SAT-WORLD; 25-05-08 at 08:23 PM. |
