The changes to the update procedure has been released together with what changes need making to the ROM7/10/11 binary source to make it work. The tricky bit is decompiling the code and re-compiling it, then testing that it works in Ireland and the rest of the UK

dont flame me ...but i beg to differ, to a little extent, if decompiling the code is done through AVR then surely the difference, should be easy to see, within the difference of the two images or dumps

p.s this is not a slagging off this is a thread that will help to colaberate the info required, and p.s i havent got one ...

realisticlly you neeed somebody to log the stream, with a logger there are specific types you would have to look which one is best, a good search should find that out, it seems that at the moment we are waiting for people to release the new update when, how can they know what to look for when its not getting logged

if we help coders and developers then they help us !

How do I log the stream? Let me know the 'what to' and I'll post the 'what's happening' . At the moment all I know is the temp fix and am trying to spread that to as many peeps as possible.

Now if you could decompile the binaries, implement the changes and re-compile, we'd be cooking with gas - well at least watching a cooking program on TV

I don't understand the decryption routines, nor how to de-compile, so don't worry about correcting me on this

ok we could always ask them......lol or start at the very beginning

is this the new dump or rthe old one then compare the 2, there mus be differences between the binary or the hexes, if you caould see what has changed theres the start

and could you then change the hex back to bin and flash it to the ev ( i think yes with ( hex convereter)

cum on mark what do you think?
