Default which is the best splitter to buy

Hi Folks

I have just bought a 2 way splitter from Maplins (i thinks its the standard 5-1000 mhz type,

Reading on the forums 1 saw one which was 5- 2400,

Should i return the maplin one and buy the second one mentioned. or get one which was 5 - 10,000. if so where can i get one from.

Thanks

Gandolf

As UK cable only goes upto 800MHz, there's little point in exchanging a 1000MHz splitter for a 2400MHz one.
