I have a Coby TF dvd7500 portable dvd player and i would like to watch satellite while travelling on my stop overs, I have a sky didibox pace version 9f0a04, model 1.050. I have tried chanaging the preferences to multi or pal, but the screen continues to flicker in a greyish colour any help.
Please I off to spain with my girls at the end of the month. and We have to stop for a couple of hours in france so they will miss Dr Who if I can not get this sorted. lyris |

It looks like it has AV sockets and a switch to select in/out.
If you select 'AV in' and then connect to your Sky box's AV output I would expect it to work. Failing that you can watch it on BBCi when you return! Yorks ![]() |

hmm looking @ the manual suggests as Yorks says flick the switch and off you go, but is the lead configured right ? so the phono's got to the output pins on the scart of the sky box. You may need this Switched Scart Phono Adaptor Gold.Audio Video FREE UK P&P
and a 3 way phono lead |

As Steve says, the lead that you have may be wired for AV out only - to play through your TV for example. The switchable SCART adapter and a set of phono leads (RCA jack) should allow you to connect to the audio and video sockets on you DVD player to use it for AV input.

I have the scart adaptor but it not a gold one, would this make a differents and they are attached to the phono leads,
Would I need to change any preferences on my digibox to allow the picture to show on the dvd? Last edited by lyris72 : 08-04-08 at 03:37 PM. Reason: picture too large to upload |

It doesn't need to be gold. The Skybox shouldn't need any settings changing as the AV out should be enabled.
