I read on TW main page, Pioneer is to stop production of plasma screen
TVs. Pioneer is to get into bed with Sharp with LCD. Suppose its their bit to stop global warming, so two up to Sony. the other one was blu ray. Bob |

Well what is better? Here in OZ there are selling both. I was told that Plasma when it dies you have to throw it away because it can't be fixed.

You are probably right, I also think LCD is the same, I know they say its cured, but all these dogs everywhere, BBC constant on DTT, this must make plasma screens think they are in a kennel fire with all the burn marks. I still use a Sony 29 inch CRT, now in its 20th year, it gives a fine clear picture, I very much doubt any plasma or CRT will last this long. Enjoy the Autumn Bob |

Bob thanks for the answer. Autumn where is rough 10c(50f) in the morning and 20c(70f) by lunch.
We went to the beach(about 35 miles away) yesterday a had a fish lunch. The little place has fresh fish and you chose what you want and they cook it for you. We had Barramundi, buttered prawns and some chips. We live in southern Queensland. We have a old Loewe 26inch widescreen about 7 years old and still works good. |
