I am a keen amateur movie editor so the other day I decided to try using my family's old computer's CRT monitor as a second monitor and its made things so much easier. I can have all the movie tracks on my laptop screen and the preview on this CRT.
Does anyone else use dual or even triple monitor setups for anything? I even use them normally for seperate windows. |

Not exaclty what you're saying, but I have a nice Sony Vega 32" TV beside my desk with my TV out plugged into it. I use it for watching movies, TV shows and playing games on. I'd love it if I could have a multiple desktop setup where they don't both show the same thing.

I edit movies too, and I use a 19" LCD screen as my second screen with my 15" laptop. I like the setup alot, but when I get really into it, I hook up my 50" plasma so I can see how it would look like in HD. A long time ago, I had 3 monitors set up side by side hooked up to my PC and used it as if it were one huge screen. Its soo awesome for gaming!
