HOW TO FIX: "please wait, code being updated"08/04/2008

its been posted around the forum but people arnt sure what goes in the provider box

press menu-yellow

3 lines will appear
provider
ntl-5401
tw-5a01
ex cw-5c01
enter the keys were it says
key 00 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **
key 01 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **
then do a google and download bigmaq toolbar for the latest keys for your provider

put in new codes yesterday and everything fine, turned on box this morning and same old codes being updated tried reentering codes but nothing, doesn't matter which codes or keys i enter still nothing any advice

Anyone know the 4 digit service provider code for Ch**us in the Dublin area? I have gone through my box and cannot see them listed. I have the latest keys alrite just need the service provider code.

changed c * w codes worked for 10 minutes

Well mines been on since 9:30ish this morning and is still going strong in Teeside. All I can imagine is that they are rolling out new codes per area and not got to us yet (correct me if im wrong).

How do normal boxes handle this key (as in does it interfere with the tv program as it updates?)
I cant imagine this being something there gonna do on a daily/weekly basis if its going to interupt viewing.

Hi. I using the Eurovox v max (2008). I live in Manchester area also. I used the 5c01 code and the numbers from Bigmaq ( Ex C&W codes 08.04.08). Have they rolled the codes since. My box is still on updating codes. Ive checked and checked the codes im inputting and they are correct. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm from Manchester too, updated same codes as you, worked for 10 mins, and has gone off again.

Like others have said, looks like they have won!!!!!

Just hope thy come up with a fix, otherwise the box's will be going out with the rubbish on Sun night!
