No it should help the power scan work properly. Sometimes if you leave the old channels on then a powerscan gets a little confused.

Clear all the channels and input new code, but still saying code being updated

Can anyone help?

I have a Euro-vox max if this help?

Is there no solutions for not having to input these new keys?

How about Firmware?

can anybody help me with a eurovox max, its showing just 2 dots in the middle of the display and wont turn on ?

Did you download the new firmware onto it?

Sounds like your box is bricked (i.e as useful as a brick).

The last 3/4 firmware releases for this box are all designed to brick cloned boxes.

the box has not had any firmware added to it, it just packed up after it has been turned on and off a few times as my mate was trying to get the code updating to stop lol

Turning the box on and off can kill it too not sure why, but this is well documented as a way to kill it.
