Where did you get the instructions from and does my location in the UK affect what I have to do differently?

I used to use a small application - I cannot for the life of me remember the name of it.

It worked very well

Hi

I also managed to update my codes using the BigMaq toolbar and Lincsat's excellent instructions at the top of this forum, but now after performing a fullscan have the same issue as the OP; channels all over the place.

Actually, that's not quite correct as they're in alphabetical order but I'd really rather change 'The Adult Channel' from position 1 if I could!

Is there any way to change the order by using just the remote (neutrino) please? I've played around with it a bit but can't immediately see anything that looks like a channel sorter option.

Thanks very much to all the patient people on this forum who have helped a lot of us these last couple of days!

I have discovered the totally simple way to order the channels using just the remote on the Dox, although I can take no credit for it. The full guide was in the 'Idiot's guide to Everything' by Scotster in the Downloads section, but I reproduce the method here to help anyone in the same boat as myself and digivirgin and I hope Scotster won't mind.

1. Press "Dbox" on your remote
2. Select "Services"
3. Select "Bouquet Editor"
4. Along the bottom you will see your options. The red button deletes the selected bouquet, the green button adds a bouquet, the yellow button moves the bouquet up and down the list and the blue button renames a bouquet.
5 Press the green button to add a bouquet and type the name of it
6. Select that bouquet once you have added it then press the green button again to add a channel to it.
7. The list of new channels will come up, select the one you wish to add to this particular list. You can select more than one, just press the ok button for each one you wish to add and a dot will appear next to it. When you are happy press back.
8. Repeat this for as many bouquets and channels you wish to add.
9. When finished press back until you are asked if you want to save. If you are happy select "yes" to save your new bouquets.

Now the channels will be in the order they are in the bouquets, from the bouquet at the top of the screen downwards.

Thanks again Scotster, saved me a lot of headscratching looking for the channels!

You could also use the built-in editor. Hook your dbox to your pc as you would when flashing/ftp-ing. Open a explorer browser and enter your ip address for your dbox. eg 192.168.0.1
This should open the editor and similar to the previous post, you can create separate folders and drag into each which channels you want. You can arrange channels in whatever order you want too. Password protect channels etc
When finished make a copy of the bouquets and services files stored on your dbox in tuxbox/config/zapit/ onto your pc. Should you ever mess them up or delete in error then you got copies to transfer back.
