Default why no auto update?

if any1 at all would be able to provide any information as to why the eurovox maxV box does not update itself anymore and we have to find the codes and enter them manually?

regards

VM has changed the way they update the code. The Eurovox does try to auto-update but its firmware still uses the old algorhythms. Hopefully a new firmware will be released soon but Eurovox are quick to drop older models so some models might not get the new firmware unfortunately.

go into google on computer type in bigmaq. download the toolbar and install.
when you have installed you will see latest keys on toolbar, open them and look for your provider eg telewest.
write them down.two sets.
below is the provider numbers in just the four digits ie mine is 5a 01. now the pain, on your tv buttons press menu then yellow button , a screen will appear you now have to input all the keys you have by using remote and codes. in put provider numbers first

provider
ntl-5401
tw-5a01
ex cw-5c01

They did work, but it seems VM changed the keys again at about 11:30 this morning. An april 9th update should appear on the bigmaq toolbar soon though. As it seems to have updated the others.I guess its a case of keep checking.Grrrr hope there is a firmware update to solve this problem soon.
