Confused?! N.ireland Codes. Do I Use N*l Ireland Or Pure N*l?

First of all my apologies to the moderators for posting about codes.

I have read all the posts and I know how to get the codes and put them in etc.

I have downloaded the bigmaq toolbar and updated the codes last night, turned on the emm capture and emulator but to no avail?

Am I using the right codes? I live in Belfast, N.Ireland. Should I be using the PURE N*L codes or N*L IRELAND? Should I be putting 5401 in the top line also or something else. Should I be doing something else beside the above? Help im lost! I thought I was doing the right thing but it seems not. I know the codes have changed again this morning but I really just need to know if I should be using the PURE N*L codes or N*L IRELAND and what I should do after inputting them ie. turn off and turn on box, re-scan etc?

I have tried the update, done a manual and power scan, unplugged the box and turned it on again etc! I only recently purchased the box and cant believe this has happended.



Please someone help me. One of the members "dino" has been very kind and tried to help me more than once but so far ive had no luck

Hi mate we were having the same problem. Use the pure n*l codes rather than NTL Ireland and you will be fine. 5401 is the provider code. There was a second new code rolled out this morning so ensure you enter the new keys. Any more help, pm me. You dont need to rescan - it should come straight back on.

how do i put the emm capulation onto the boxes?have put in the keys from bigmaq but to no avail can anyone give me advice for my euro boc 2008?

Manny I'm not sure if this helps but I think if the first 4 number are 5401 they go on the very top line then you carry on after that with the first 8 double numbers (some with one number and one letter) on the next line and the next 8 on the lower line. I'm not sure but give it a go. I did and it worked (Pain in the Arse isn't it?)

Hello Manny

If you go into the language part on the menu (under first heading, drop down list - cant rem off hand what its called) u will see 4 things u can change.

Now, just hit the numbers 1 9 6 8 on ur remote and another 2 things u can change will be added to the other 4 that are already there. These will be emulation and emm capture. Just set them both to enabled and save and exit.

Now back in the main menu, hit the yellow button and key in ur codes, press ok to save it, press exit, and presto, all ur channels will be back!

Hope that works for u and more important hope it makes sense!!! Let me know if u r unsure?!

just to let you know, i got my box updated about 5 minutes ago.

i downloaded the bigmaq toolbar to get the codes.

used pure ntl keys

menu > yellow button (text)

provider code 5401
