just came back up in bolton/greater manchester area
did a channel scan about 4 hours ago and it just came back now
this could be a sign

I did a service scan on mine, it picked up about 110 channels, loads missing and only showed BBC etc.

Still no luck.

Is it possible this is a fault with Virgin and not the dbox it seems odd that everybody's has gone down, i would suggest leaving it until tonight to see if it resolves before changing anything.

If anyone has any other ideas let me know becasue im stumped

Also has anyone got a proper box to test if it virgin or the dbox ?

its not a vrigin fauls mate, i also have a digivox which i plugged in place of my D Box and it works fine.

Just need the new codes for the d box.

I am not too clued up on how to do it though, did the servicescan, so not sure if i now need it re flashed???

what does re flashing mean it did go on its own so why cant it jst come back on its own geez lol

i am not too clued up on how to do it myself, all i did was try a servicescan via the remote and it picked up 100 odd channels, but none of them would play, only the free ones like BBC etc, i am assuming i need it flashed to put the latest software on it?

he has told me that as soon as he knows then so will i..

managed to do a complete service scan on mine and managed to get the basic channels..

SMARTASS..

i did another half hour later and then lost the lot again..

just trying a complete scan again now..
