How to patch a TM3100D

Hi to everyone on this forum.I have just got back into sattelite receivers after a long lay of from the D2mac days.I have bought a Technomate TM3100D sat receiver which has come pre-patched.The box works well but sooner or later I am going to have to update it with a new patch.I am mainly interested in the Premier channels on Astra1 19.2 as this is where my dish is pointed.
I have read the info concerning the TM1000 series updating of a patch and would like to know if the TM3100D is any different.I have already installed the latest loader for the patch on my desktop along with the latest patch but these may be out of date when I need to use them.
I bought my receiver from Stretch Sattelites in Leicester who have proved to be very good with delivery and even a free update lead.
Things have certainly moved on since I last played with card programming on my D2mac and I must say for the better.
