Easy Guide To Updating Keys

First things first,if you havent already done it install the bigmaq toolbar.
Google bigmaq and it is the first link.

Once installed
Click on the Latest Keys tab
Now it will depend on who owned Virgin Media in your area in the first place as to which Keys you use.


EX Cable & Wireless
Pure NTL
TELEWEST

And two options for our Irish friends.
NTL Ireland
Chorus Ireland

So if you dont know,English & Scotish try the first three,likewise the other two for those on the other side of the Irish sea & one will work.
Copy the key codes

Press menu then the yellow remote button.

3 lines will appear:

Provider Codes & Keys 00 & 01

Provider Codes
Ex C&W 5c01
PURE NTL 5401
TELEWEST 5a01

Use the bigmaq Toolbar to find the keys.

Enter the keys where it says:
Key 00 - ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **
Key 01 - ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **

Remote Codes:
TV = A

RADIO = B

P- = C

P+ = D

INFO = E

RECALL = F

Input said keys by pressing Menu and then the Yellow button on the remote.

I did get mine going by reading all the helpful threads,but members going out of there way to give step by step tuts should be applauded!!! Thanx for all the hard work and as a newbie to this forum.....a big thumbs up!
