After my dbox lost most of its channels thanks to the key changes made by Vrgin, I decided to dig out the original Telewest Scientific Atlanta cable box, expecting to at least get all the channels I had the last time it was used.
Not the case - only channels 1-5, bbc3/4 ITV2 and one or two others. Not even Vrgin 1 or ITV3 or others that would come as freeview. Tried reset with no effect. Any ideas?

Is it because when Vrgin did the update the box wasn't connected at the time?

it will take a while for your box to update.

thats because your account is on restrictions. they did the same to me recently

it updated eventually but think I'll leave it connected all the time from now on..
