Hi,

After messing with this and that I have finally got it to work again.

Then only thing is it seems to be finding loads of the same channel
I.E 8 x bbc one etc

When I used to scan before it said ??/45 now when I scan it says ??/72
Is this becuase of the new codes from BigM?? for is it something I'm still doing wrong.
Emu is on, New codes are correct for my supplier (N*L) all is good I think apart from the above and the odd missing channel.

Regards

Spanky

make a note of the frequencies of your missing channels then do a manual scan and your channels should appear at the end x

Ok this one is going to be good....lol

I have look in the System info and it say the following:-

Star View
API ver: 2.57e_E
Boot ver: 7.0
16 Aug 2006

Also took some pictures but cannot seem to get them pasted onto this post so have attached them ....

So from the info above and the pictures is there anyway of knowing if I have a StarView Ver 1 or a clone the back of mine suggests a clone going by some of the pictures on other post / threads

Regards

Oh Billy Ollocks if it is a clone that means I cannot put the new firmware on as my box will R.I.P so I have been told.

not quite dead ....you will have to do the manual key thing everytime they roll thats all xxxx you can also delete duplicate channels .....its tedious but possible x

not r i p just manualy insert codes

i have put a thread out on how to do this
i think it should be made a sticky to help people to do this instead of spending £100
on something they do not need it only takes minutes once you have done this a few times
