Doing manual input but would have been nice to put new firmware on for Automatic update....lol

But cheers for letting me know it was a clone before I did kill it... now just want to kill myself for getting done in buying a clone.

Hi yet another daft question...

What is it about the clone boxes that is different to the Genuine Starview boxes as far as the firmware working.

Hope the above makes sense as not good at the technical stuff...

people who manufactured the genuine one some where along the line gave suported software
then when clones arrived they was firmware to kill boxes so they could make more money
there is/was a clone software out there the 257ee fixed did update
some one spent time out to help people like yourself and myself to do this
but it no longer works i think spiderman did this
but no hardship inputting keys
in a nut shell business on both parts clone non clone
hold tight and input keys untill your box compleatly dies
if you see new software do not just jump in and install it i have heard of so many cases of boxes been bricked

If it was released yesterday DO NOT USE IT its is a fake and not made by the author named in the file,it is for clone starview boxes but using it will kill them.

Also took some pictures but cannot seem to get them pasted onto this post so have attached them ....

So from the info above and the pictures is there anyway of knowing if I have a StarView Ver 1 or a clone the back of mine suggests a clone going by some of the pictures on other post / threads
