Default eurovox problem that i think is unique

i've checked other posts and no-one's quite had what ive got anyway

for the last couple of days ive had the old 'please wait, codes being updated' problem and foolishly thought that this could be fixed by getting VM to send over a stronger signal.

Anyway, that was tried and it failed, and I plugged the cable back into my VM box, which although many of the freeview channels have disappeared (I no longer subscribe to, apparently) it was working fine.

So I plugged the cable back into my eurovox box and there's absolutely no signal for anything. It seems everything is 0 and it's now been searching for a signal for the past half hour.

Any ideas what I can do or what ive done wrong? I live in south west london.

EDIT: just did a power scan and the signal is not 0. It ranges from 2 to 30.

So are you saying you phoned VM to get them to help with your EV box..........thats a classic.

Lol, I cringed when I read that. Phoning VM to help you steal their service is definately unique. Have you tried updating your encryption keys?

phoning VM helped before!

they sent me a stronger signal after id lost all my channels and it worked a treat. and they even gave me a discount for the month. will try the new encryption keys..
