Default Problem with dreambox 500C

Hi guys i am new to this forum and this is my first post. I really need help with my dreambox cause recently it stopped viewing other channels like sky sports 1,2,3 or any other channels accept bbc and itv.

Hi mate, welcome to the forum. I assume you are using a Sly card that is fully paid up, if not then you will not receive Sly sports. If, however, you do have a fully paid up Sly card, then it might be that you are using the wrong EMU. The best EMU for auto updating a Sly card is Cccam, I have never had to put my FTV card into a Sly box to update it, not to date anyway.

It would be well worth putting your card into a Sly box, if you have access to one, and leave it on Sly 3 for some time and then try it in your 500. I would hope that the Sly box would update your card and that it would work when you try it again in the 500.

Thankyou kerry for your reply. Well the dreambox i have it does not need any card it just run without on card aswell and i was viewing all channels day before yesterday but then suddenly they stop so now i can only view freeview channels. By the way do you know how i can update the firmwire for this box?

Think your in the wrong section m8, your dreambox is probably the 500c i.e cable (does not need card) was hit a couple of days ago there is a fix but you should post in the cable section, to get complete answer etc.
