There are 2 main cams, the T-Rex/Dragon and the Diablo, and at the moment both will open the following packages:
Premiere 19E
TPS & Polsat 13E
Digi TV 1W
The same as a patched receiver.
You can also use the Cams with a legitimate subscription card like DigitAlb.
I believe both will work with a Freesat card but you can not open Channels 4 and 5 without the card.

I have rs232 to usb lead so what else do I need to do? and how do I oatch it sorry if this has been repeated many times I am totally newbie!
do I look for the lastest firmware and upload oit straight to the sl65/12 ??

What recever do you have if you dont have one yet then get the Darkbox HD as it will take your freesat card and can be patched for lots of other stations, or you can keep your freesat seprate then keep a fixed small sky dish on 28east

That receiver of yours may or may not be able to be patched. It all depends what chip is inside the machine. The only way that I know of finding out if it can be patched is to take it to bits and remote the heat sheild from the top of the main chip. (pain in the butt). If the chip has m3329a1 on it then like mine you cannot patch it at all. If it is a m3329b1 or ** then your in look. I would suggest that you look around this forum or other forums before deciding if you want to look. The heat sheild that you have to remove is glued on and it not easy to remove, you then have to get some silicon glue to re attach it. Its much easier just to buy a cheap receiver like a technomate.
