Help Please
I want to flash my Eurovox BUT.....
I dont think my PC has a port to put in the Null cable.
Although I can see 5 spare USB ports!
It's a D*LL 5150

Snap.

You can buy a rs232 to USB adapter but these can be hit and miss. Some ppl got it to work - I didn't. I bought a PCI serial port card from DELL (to play safe) but you can get cheaper cards out there.

Tis a gr8 new feature.

This was featured in a firmware release 28/3/08 and the updated release of 10/4/08 incorporates the same new features

have looked very closely at the photo's that are posted and opened up a eurovox 8 today and thought it was a clone but on closer inspection noticed that there were a lot of green reesisters at the top of the right hand board but on the clone pictures it does not have any at all yet the wires were twisted in the box that i opened any ideas plz

Hi
Hope someone out there can steer me on the right liines.
I did the code updates and they worked fine for me on Thurs. Came home Fri and they dont work for me now although I got new codes. Instead of "Please wait... etc" I have "Service Unknown".
Presume I will need to flash the box.
OK - I can read the tut on how to, that's cool. BUT
which fimware download?
The box my Eurovox came in says Eruro-Vox Max 2006 series and is in a blue box.
Which firmware do I need please?
Many thanks. New at this.. having to get myself sorted out as my husband died recently and I have to do this stuff myself now!
Thanks all.
