HELP!

I am struggling to get Sky Sports channels. It is just saying 'Service Unkown'. i have downloaded big maq's latest software for my box (Max V Red) and channel settings for my area, searched through all of the TVChs and they are not there. I am at a loss what else to do???? Any help, guidance or advice would be much appriciated. Thanks

I got a laptop usb to serial adapter which was a usb - male serial PLUS a null modem serial female - female.
Not sure how to check if your usb - serial is null modem !

Hi guys flashed the box over a week ago and has been ok so far but has just gone off, will it need to be flashed again or does it sort itself out?

It should sort itself-out very quickly by itself - the boxes seem to update fastest if you leave them on S Sports 1

That is normal - usually I switch of/on instead of changing channel to get the "please wait"

Maybe check that you flashed successfully - go Mernu/Config/System Info...your S/W Ver should be giving a date in Apr 2008.

So long as it does, just put it on S Sports 1 (it is fastest) and try waiting for 15 min!
