you need to make sure that the code is right for your area i.e 6887. 6889 or the other one - do a powerscan on all 3 until u find out which one is yours

Hey thanks for gettin back so quick. Ok so i just cleared data again and went back the factory settings again and have just started the 'full power scan' that it automatically asks you to do again. I'll get back to you although there is still no channels coming up in the box at the bottom.

Not a full powerscan

Just select FULL SCAN and press OK

A bricked box is a box that has been rendered useless i.e as useful to you as a brick.

There is clone safe firmware out now though for the blue box - you'll find it in the downloads section of the forum

Sorry but after i've done the factory reset it only gives me the option of a full power scan. I can press red to get to 'advanced install' and i can select from 3 different symbol rates by pressing right and left. If i go into advanced install it gives me a box in the middle of the screen titled full power scan where i can change : Start (100 MHz), Stop (870MHz), Symbol rate (6.887 Mbaud) and then three more symbol rate options all on 0.000Mbaud, then Step (8) and Fav. Sort (ON). It just has my signal quality at the bottom which is 97%. Sorry to be so confusing just thought it might help.

Your signal quality is very high. Which firmware did you install on your box?

Also, check under the TV Settings on your box and make sure that the signal booster is switched off.

It was the UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_T_signal_fix_28_04_08.zip if that means anything. Also in my TV settings there is no signal boost option.
