i'm in universal serial bus controller

i double click on that i get a list whats connected to the usb, one of them is a unknown device, i'm guessing that this is the euro vox?

Well you hit the nail on the head their, cos nokia's always crash too..

Think if you switched over to osx in a few weeks you'd be saying to complete opposite.. well if thinks keep moving as they do, i wont need a pc in future cos they will be able to do this on a mac :O)

Yes so that the laptop recognises the cable

Gotta go . . . .

On another tack, do any of your m8s have an EV with the new firmware already on it - if so you could copy theirs onto yours without any need for a computer Copy 1 box to another

The Ports option does'nt appear on mine either unless i plug something in that is recognised by the computer. Thats why i'm wondering have you installed a driver for your adaptor.

okay, i've installed the drivers, and now when i open up the firmware, it gives me the option to select a port, port 4 works

but it now says waiting for the response of your reciever, yet nothing seems to be happening
