Pity you did'nt say you were stuck in standby in your first post. That could be a down to alot of different problems. Good night.

There's been alot of info regarding ''stuck in standby'' posted. Have a search for it.

You have two blues yes?
One working and one bricked?
What happened to the second one that it was bricked?
Is it a clone?
What firmware is on the working blue?

yes i have to blues?
one working one stuck in standby

they have never been touched, the one just started playing up, then wouldn't turn on again

No i dont think they are clones.. the insides looks like originals

I dont have a clue what firmware they are running. they are probably on what every they came with!

So is one of them bricked? or is this just the term your using?

To know what firmware they are running on go to Menu / Config / System Information and whatever date appears beside 'S/W Ver' tells you what version of firmware.

Anyhows, if you haven't updated the firmware recently and they're not clones then it is unlikely to be bricked. It could by the c14 capacitor has blown in the second box - there is a good post here somewhere on how to fix but it does involve soldering.

Before you go down that line - have you a null modem cable? you could first try copying your working box to your dead box and see if that revives it - I gave a link in one of my previous posts to you on how to do this.

Found the thread for the c14 Dead Eurovox
