This might sound really dim to all of you but can you tell me which box I have.....
It came in a blue box and says 2006 on the box....the firmware installed says feb.2007 !!!
Which of the fixes should I use Red 2006 or blue 2007?

The blue 06 box tuner will measure 12 slots in the grill/slots and the red 07 will measure 8
Where should i be looking for this on the box?

Attched pic of my box

How can i tell whether it's a clone as well as whether its a red or blue box?

put the top back on and look at the grills that cover the modulator where your cable pluggs in count how many of the grills you can see the modulator through.

I appologise in advance,

I have read on here somewhere that after installing the new firmware you need to do a factory reset is this true?
