ive been reading the forum and getting really confused, ive got a vm v+ box in my living room and a sammy 2110c in my bedroom, ive seen you cant "chip" the v+ box but wat about the other 1, i have tried gettin my head around the forum with funcards etc but iam still lost. sorry.

You can chip the 2110c but you willl need an unlooper to get the bk and ird of the card as they have a reading lock of some sort on it.Reading the card is the only way to get the bk, no jtags on this box.

You can do the v+ but you need to remove and blank or replace 8 leg chip to set net id, you also need a paired card.

ok thanks for your help, ive looked on various forums and sites for an "unlooper" but cant find any to buy? would it be easier for me to buy a eurovox box and plug that in. might be a silly question but if i chip the box do i get all the channels etc? sorry for been really new and asking daft questions

sorry ive been on this site most of the day and dont get me wrong it a great site but, i cant find anywhere that actually says what you need from start to finish, ive downloaded tut's and been in lots of threads. any help?

you need to buy a card unlooper,i have ordered one myself,i ordered a ubomb of jabsplace.people have reported success with it.

you will need a programmer,i got infinity.

funcard,unless you can reprogramme the one you got.

you have to read a tutorial,located in fta dowbnload section,posts are made to links,get the cable for dummies or the samsung one.

you have to cut talkback by popping 2 resistors off the board,then 2 more to stop any humming.

then you have to desolder a chip,either rewrite it with o's or f's or replace it with one from maplins.means desoldering/resoldering is required.there is a pic in samsung tutorial if you read it.

then you need to unloop or unlock your card to enable it to be read.then it needs to have the bk and ird read of it.this is then written to a card like a funcard4 with other files,there are three in all.the flash/int/exteep.

for reprogramming the funcard there are realy easy and simple tutorials.
