Eurovox Max V pre firmware update advice please.

I am new, thanks for the techy info. Just one question and I might be missing the obvious 'can't see for the trees' but were is the files I need {the firmware updater}. I do have them from my supplier but I am sure someone will need them....thanks for a great forum.

I still have one problem, my new pc does not have a 232 port and my eurovox does not have usb, will I be able to get an adapter?

Try all three, putting in the wrong code doesn't hurt. You will want to flash your box as soon as possible though as doing so will take away the need to re-enter codes.

big kev i bought an adapter and lead that goes usb to null modem cable off the net cost about £3 off ebay for me laptop it works fine took about 3 days to get here but same gear was £15 in maplins

Maplins is a rip-off but great if you want it same day. It always amazes me that the local independant computer shops that sell at a reasonable price are always empty yet maplins is always full at their over inflated prices.

No it is all automated, just run the exe and click the download button in the middle of the box.
