I am having the same problem with a 3 week old original eurovox maxV2008. I installed the latest Kuro V3 firmware, scanned and got all channels, no problems, a couple of days has gone by since the updated firmware then today at 16.00 , ((please wait code update)) appeared on the screen, had to use bigmaq to get new keys. Are the software engineers for eurovox;s aware of this problem coming back

I think Eurovox firmware needs looking at again.

chattinawaytherenow and fatthinslim . . .

There's two scenarios there

1. The box can take as much as 5-10 mins to auto-update and this is normal even for before this problem started. To speed this up make sure your EMM Capture is enabled (press Menu/Language Settings and key in 1968 on your remote. You will see the option appear at the bottom of the Languages) - this only ever needs to be done if you unplug your box from the mains or manually update keys.

Changing channel to sly sports for some unknown reason also speeds up the auto-updating

2. Only seen this a couple of times - the box doesn't know which keys to use. Press Menu/Language Settings and key in 19681968. Arrow <> across until you find your cable provider. Go to the first line for your provider (N*L in this case) and press the yellow button (Default Key).

Let me know how you get on

The guys with the Waiting for response message.

Try unplugging the power cable from the back of the box and plugging it back in again
