just installed the new software and the s/w version in the menu now says " 1.0 stc4 oct 24 2007 " have we gone back a year?

Rusty, I've just installed it and for me it says "1.0 STC4 Apr 10 2008". Are you sure you downloaded and installed the correct version? I got mine via the BigMAQ toolbar. It's basically identical to the most recent beta, other than the key fix.

Remember to save your cdf files before the update to save you organising all the channels again! I use voxer, which is in the download area!

The update didn't affect my channels this time, although making a backup is advisable just in case.

did you have the 28/3/2008 software installed before installing the new keyroll fix? i was still using the old w/s beta software so i'm wondering if i should install the 28/3/2008 version first.
