Just make sure its a NULL MODEM cable

If you have connected the box to your pc then the firmware loader will find it

How do I back up my channels.

Im gonna flash the box with newfirmware but want to back up channels first.

How do I get the firmware into my box.? I realise this might be a stupid question but I'm a newbie here.

There is an option in the firmware exe file to upload a cdf file to your computer.

Does anybody know how to flash the box with the firmware.

I have connected null modem cable to box & opened up firmware on pc.

There is 2 download tabs an upload tab & an edit tab.

When I click on download it flicks between com port 1 & 2.

Should my box still be connected to the cable tv lead as well as the null modem, or just the null modem ?

Any help would be much appreciated
