Hi, im a newbie to this as my box has never given me any problems untill recently, box detials:

DVB-XC
S/W VERSION- 1.0 ssc4 fEB 08 2006
H/W VERSION - 2.0 Feb 08 2006
Bootstrap v002

when i go into menu and press my yellow button to enter new codes(dont have a cable to install the new firmware yet) nothing happens, do i have to do something diffrent with this version of the eurovox or am i just doing it wrong

Press Menu, Language Settings and key in 19681968 on your remote.

Arrow <> across til you find your provider and follow the instructions at the bottom of the screen to edit your keys there and then

Try pressing menu then language and in there type 1968 twice and that should display ur keys u should be able to scroll down the list and edit the keys as needed

is it one of those leads that screws on to the back of the comp and then on to the screen? i have one of those on a different comp a could borro if is the same wire?probably not but thought a would ask
