Default Eurovox maxv

hi can anyone help i have bought a Eurovox maxv. and it went off i read up on how to put keys in manualy. it worked fine i have heard theres a fix auto update called UFL_MaxV_Kuro3 i have downloaded it but its just a loader is there a flash file i need to put in the box or i have read a tut but dont understand find the browse button and find the [firmware] file you wish to load where i can get this flash file to put in sorry for being a nooby


1. Loading the software
Connect a 'null modem' cable from the box to your PC.
Run the loader application (click link below) and in the firmware box, click the browse button and find the firmware file you wish to load. Hit the 'Download' button and when 'reset receiver' message appears, switch the receiver off and then on again and the loading will begin.

So this new Kuro v3 FIX is the permanent one to stop us having to manually update the codes?
Lincsat, if you're reading this, i bought my 2008 eurovox off you in january. Would i need to flash update anything else prior to this v3 fix?

Hi
I know everone is fed up of answering the same questions but i have been reading the threads for the last couple of days, downloaded the toolbar for the keys, manually input keys still nothing working. Is there anyone out there who can help me with an idiots guide on what i should be doing. Im with VM in the brighton area. I promise to make a donation just please some one give me some easy to understand advice.

If you got the Eurovox than patch it up with latest firmware

Just load the latest firmware, it's dead easy and only takes a few minutes.

It's a good idea to backup your channel list first though.

ive just patched the eurovox with the latest firmware and it worked perfect, thanks a lot to those who released it we are forever gratefull.
