Default multivision on dreambox??

i have just replaced my 1 mtr dish with a 1.2 channel master.

i have had to set up the east and west limits on the actuator
i go from 28deg east to 30 deg west usually

the problem i have is that i can't get multivision on the dreambox 7000s
i get about 46 signal strength
tps football and tps star is 84 signal strength
also good signal on other transponders so i know i am on the correct sat.

i can open multivision with my second receiver a samsung dsr 9500 (11662 V)

anyone any ideas what's happened please

Suggest you rescan 13e again mate, its possible they may have changed the frequencies

Make sure you go to France 4 to get the keys to update. I've found that mgcamd seems to work the best for me on TPS/Multivision.

Make the most of it though as it won't be around for much longer once the change over to 19.** is complete

Hi abr, check the transponder list in satellites.xml to make sure it is scanning the correct freq and symbol rate. Alternatively just do a manual transponder edit and put in the transponder details for Multivision and then do a transponder scan. If it finds the channels it will just add them to your channel lists.

thanks jimdefruit.

just tried that now m8
entered 11662 v 3/4 27500
but only get snr51%
until i get a better signal it won't find anything??

the transponder was not on the satellite xml list.

just replaced my 1mtr dish with 1.2mtr
but had not tried multivision for a couple of weeks so can't say its the fault of the dish
i do get a very good signal from some of the other transponders?

abr, are you getting good signals on the vertical transponders on 13E or just the horizontal? I am getting about 88% on the Multivision channels.

If ber is anything but 0 then you are not lined up on the sat correctly. There are a few transponders with no signal and they would show as 40% ish however I get over 2000 channels off 13E. Are you sure you are actually pointing at 13E because you would get some transponders if you happened to be pointing at another satellite but scanning with the 13E transponder list.

hi jimdefruit

what you said about not being on the correct sat is something that i had given some thought but because i had great signals on some transponders i thought it may be some other reason

i will try to tweak the dish with the remote of the positioner see what i get then
thanks m8
