Default arrrgh

ive had a starview box for 9mth and trouble free viewing too.that is until now as most of my channels no longer work.i have emu enabled and on average get around 300 channels while scanning(which i only do when box goes off)i now get message saying 306 channels found and then wait until saved.now the problem starts as i try to open channels i get very few and on likes of setanta/sky sports /sky movies/history/nat geog etc i get message saying data being updated which goes up to 200% then back to nought with black screen on for however length of time i wait can someone help in this matter as ive never came across before im on t......t supply
many thx if anyone can solve for me

Looks like you will have to use the keys manually as you do not has enough posts to download the new firmware.If you bought the box as new sounds as if you have Starview 2 check your Firmware Menu--System Info

Have you got eyes, READ THE THREADS THAT ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE ABOUT THE SAME THING YOU ARE ASKING. You lucky that you are getting this reply. Please look at the previous post regarding this common question.

soz wez im totally new too all this stuff and not up on jargon thx for youre comments and will take note.i did find link regarding updating with rs232 lead which i shall try.thx for response

hix jon im new too all this stuff and hope system info lets me know which model i have as i intend too try updating via rs232 lead many thx for your'e help
