Default Sony nav-u nv-u53

Does anyone know if you can get any new voices for this model? or if any of the other ones (navman, tomtom etc) would work with it

Any help is greatly appreciated

hiya, regarding your sat nav, there is a time problem with this model, if you check your gps settings you will see an hour diffrence, this will not show on the main screen untill bst ends then the clock on the sat nav will be 1 hr out, sony are aware of this and offer a streight swap for the next modle up, i thinks its the u73, it the same unit but with full euro map and tcm, the no is on sonys web site and they send a new one out and collect the old one at the same time.

Phoned them today, I also had a question to ask them about getting some more maps onto it anyway. During the telephone conversation, I threw it in about the time not being right too.

Getting my replacement on Thursday

Again, many thanks for your help

no problem, and if you do a lot of miles its worth paying the one off fee for TCM £20,you will still have to go thru the registration to download the speed cam data, but glad it worked for you as well
