Hi justlucy,

Your box sounds similar to mine.
The make of my box is "Select a View" and the model is a "View FTA 500".
The system information is Starview, API ver 2.57e_E, Boot ver:7.0, 16th Aug 2006.
It came with a cloned remote control.
Do you or does anyone know any history of this type of box?
I believe it originated in the Bristol area.

Hello I'm new to this - I tried to load new flash to my starview box it seems have gone blank and no activity. I think may have download the wrong firmware. Any Idea hoe I can get it running again please

I downloaded the starview 2 software onto starview 1!
