Default About the latest fix read this

I have just downoaded the latest Kuro v3 10/4/2008 that is supposed to fix the problem of having to continually update keys and its left my box with just 4 0000 zero's on the display and I cannot access it ....I got the fix from the BigMAQ toolbar and now Im stuck anyone give any help on this ?

4 0's usually means there are no channels stored. Do you have a backup .cdf you could load?

If the remote isn't responding, you could try flashing again, even using the old firmware to see if the box responds, small possibility the firmware you downloaded is corrupt.

Many thanks lincsat, appreciate your help and no unfortunately I do not have a back up cdf , wish I had now, If I had got the fix from your stickie instead of BigMAQ I would have known better ...the download did indeed say download failed for a few seconds before coming up with download succesful so perhaps it was corrupted will do as you suggest and download old firmware hopefully ....

Update to post 6 ....I have now downloaded my previous software and it came up succesful download first time so take it that that is now installed,but unfortunately still have the 4 zeros and cannot access the box from remote ....is it possible (if I can get someone to send me one) that I can download their channel file to my box?

Have you checked the remotes working, some buttons get stuck and nothing works. Just a thought.

to check remote look at the transmitter with your mobile phone camera while pressing buttons and you will see it light up if its working.
