Just wondering if anyone has a way to tell between the red and blue boxes?
I have a box and it belongs to my uncle and he really doesn’t know what type it is (and neither do I) and I don't want to mess it up by flashing the wrong stuff on it so any help is appreciated. Also we don’t have the box it came in so we can’t tell that way either (doh!) Thanks |

look at the box from above and at the top right where the cable connector is look through the vents you will see a metal box count how many vents you can see the metal box through.
The blue 06 box will measure 11 or 12 slots in the grill and the red 07 will measure 8

open the box and look inside the tell tale signs are red dye on the screws that hold the motherboard down and the wires will be messy and not ribbon cables.
obviously thats not a guarantee that its a clone or not, but its usually the case, as they are made with cheaper components.
