Default Which null cable RS232 to use

Hi Folks

Planning to pop down to maplin to get the cable so I can update the firmware.

Can someone please tell what cable to use is it the female 9pin with a usb at one end. There selling for about £12 at maplin.

I bought mine from maplin aswell, its this one:
Maplin > Serial Null Modem 9-Pin Female to 9-Pin Female
make a note of the stock code and that way they will make sure you get the right one.

Gandolf i don't think you can get the USB one with a female on the end it is a male which means you will have to buy an adapter. I bought mine from a local shop and found that the new software only looks for the com ports and not the usb. I connected the adapter by itself and that worked a treat - would have only cost me about £2 the USB wasn't needed. Hope this helps
