Help needed here just unplugged the Eurovox from the wall and plugged it in elsewere and now the bloody thing wont power up any ideas is this a common problem ,any help would be much appreciated

Maybe the c14 fuse has blown on the board. Also it may sound silly but have you swithed the plug socket on lol

Yes i have tried another cable and it is switched on LoL ,were is the c14 fuse ?? and also how do i know if a capacitor is feked as i have also came across another post that says the c14 cap is a weak point

That is the same thing c14 capacitor/fuse. open up your box look on the board where your power cable connects to for a fuse/capacitor label c14 if the top is slighty raised then its gone and needs replacing

Hi Grav ,cheers for taking the time to answer these questions , i have opened it and the actual cap looks ok no burning or swelling ,but i must admit when i look at the other caps it does look a bit rounded at the top ,were the rest if anything look slightly countersunk ,hopefully you will understand what i mean , ,,
Is there a process you have to go through to change these or is it simple enough to do |

easy enough to do i did one the other day took bout 10 mins after i remembered you have to actually switch on the soldering iron lol. just simply de-solder the bottom of the existing one and solder a new one in, i think you can pick the cap up from maplin you are after a 1000uf 16v iirc
