Hi all, Question: i do not have a 9 pin connection on my laptop, only a 15 pin and a 25 pin (used for printer connection) So basically i'm snookered at hooking up my box to my laptop to download the new firmware!

Any advice as to overcoming this problem?

You can buy a usb adapter from maplins £12-99

Hi,

Dont worry buy a USB - RS232 Adapter, then simply plug into a USB port

or if you have a PC with a serial port, you can take the box to the pc you only need the power lead and the serial lead attached to the box.
