Hey my first post!! Downloaded firmware connected blue box but when I hit download it just searches for com port. What am I doin wrong?

Got a 9 pin rs232 connected into spare port on computer but no joy!

You need a Serial Null Modem 9-Pin Female to 9-Pin Female cable

Maplins sell them (Order code L71BT)

All working great Maplins had given me the wrong lead quick change and no problems! So its a big thankyou to all the info on here.
