Try holding standbye and power on till green lights flash, or pull red jumper next to battery with power off for 2 min replace then reboot, if no luck read the stuck in tune guide in downloads, read the download post in private fta for access.
Also check where the cable screws into tuner that the centre piece where the copper wire goes in hasnt come loose or broken away from circuit board, it can happen from overtightening the connecter.

Unhappy Re: STuck in tune

Help needed guys. I picked up a telepest broadband box Di1000t from the west midlands, for a telepest area in west london. I rest the freq and set pin via red jumper. I prog the fun to set net id, inserted in net id page which it stated the 09999, it did go blank and boot but it stays on please wait updating. I've tried force update via holding down the stanby button but ive waited on the blank screen that rolls down all the numbers for about 30 -40 minutes, stating key points such as freq found, not got lock, no boaud found bla bla bla. I've managed to change net ids on ex c&w box without probs but this telepest is giving me hell! I thought it would not be a problem since its in a telepest area allbeit not its place of origin. what am I doing wrong? I cant even boot back into eng, to see if new net id was changed as it keeps booting up in update screen, only way is to pull red jumper to go back into eng buts that makes the box back to 09999 again thus catch 22? How the hell do I get this working. It just stays in tune! AAAAHHHHH

Try hold standbye power up till 0000 on display then press favourites > interactive > tv guide > tv, in that order then you get 4321 then press ok.

Hi Red, i've tried that, i thought you call it a force update, it just rolls down numbers and info such as not got lock bla bla no baud found bla bla, had it on this for about 30-40min. Is there any other way to get it locked on? Is there any other way to boot in eng. without having to pull red jumper again, I just want to see if i did indeed set the new net id but it just stays in please wait updating...

Tried that, its not working either. How long can or should I leave it on the update page while the box states tune? Surely it should take less than half an hour?! Dont know what else to try? Anyone else done a net id for Di1000t telewest broadband box before, help...

Hi, how can I short the battery? I normally pull the red jumper to reset the pin and freq. I then use the fun to set net id, on other box ive done as soon as I put fun in on net id page in eng menue it boots up and the green l.e.d display starts rolling etc. but on this box it just boots and says PACE, then stays on tune? So do do all of the above and set net id via fun then pull jumper and try shorting the battery once you have told me how, or shall I just reset the box by pulling the red jumper, I assume the net id will be back to 0999 and a default freq then just boot without the jumper in? Sorry mate I just need a step by step with info on how to short the battery and when I should use fun for net id??
