STuck in tune

Bloody Hell Fitz, you one of the new experienced refugees from one of the forums thats been closing all over the place? Thats pretty comprehensive dude. Anyways ive got another 1000 ex C&W box, i'll try swapping the tuner, but Ive never replaced caps or even know what they are before, speaking of which I had 1000 box die on me 2 weeks ago, the led would take its time booting before it turned on a then one day it just did not come on! Red Diesel has also mentioned the caps things before, but unless theres a link to a picture or something I dont really know mate. Cheers!

Ive tried the tw box now in the ex c&w area with another tuner on it and changed net id and freq. It accepted new net id showed channels 1-5 but again only the same random channels i got in the tw area, only this time I can see them?! Whats that about? I can assume now that old tuner was weak but even with the new tuner, it now shows lock on both pages and snr is ok and all greens everywhere? So what am i doing wrong in terms of trying to get all the channels?? cheers

Has it updated to 3.6 if so just leave it on overnight, see if that works.

Its done it! Thanks guys, I dont know how but it has and thats all that matters. I do have one question, although I'm in an ex C&W area I had to use the latest TW flash on the fun for it to work, why is that? I thought it had to be a flash for the that area, I used the C&W keys but had to the TW flash which I only tried because I thought its a TW box and ive tried everything else!! Anyways I am not too fussed but it would be nice to know for the future. Thanks again Red Deisel, Fitz and everyone else on this thread who offered advice!
