STuck in tune - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

HI, i cut talkback on my di4001 and plugged it in and it was updating from the old ntl , well i tried removing the red jumper but when i plugged it in it says tune on the box and the screen is blank.

Any ideas?

there is a full thread and a guide for that.

But What i will tell you, it not official but works 100% and very easy to do

You know how to enter in to engg menu? press those two buttons and power on your box. wait for LED to switch its position from top to bottom. now release the buttons. your system will boot in normal mode without and tune problem!!!

IVe thried that but when i turn box on again and preess the buttons the leds do to the bottom but the screen remains blank?

go into eng menu and check Frequency and net Id

I cant get into the eng menu, the leds go down to bottom and the screen stays blank,

I took the box apart in the tuner the point where you plug in the cable , the nt wasnt re-titened but still nothing...
